Recycling Waste

Welcome to another blog post from Ronset Printers. Today we want to draw your attention to a charity that we support called Sams which is part of the Energy Zone at Newfield Drive here in Blackburn.

As you can see by the picture above here is one of the Sams vans parked up at our premises ready to collect some of the waste that we have for them. There are many reasons why we love to promote this fine charity:

  • Firstly it is a local charity here in Blackburn and we always like to support the local community whenever we possibly can.
  • Sams are very much an environmentally friendly charity which is a subject close to our heart. As their tagline says on the van they get waste and `Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Reclaim and Recreate`.
  • It is of course very useful for us to use this service as it means we can get rid of any waste we have in an ecologically sound way, and I urge you to use this service too if you have a business that has waste you need to remove from your premises.
  • And Sams are very creative with the waste that they take as they reclaim it and change much of it into pieces of art.

How Sams Charity In Blackburn Operate

Sams are actively encouraging environmental awareness in the local business community which can only be a good thing. They work by collecting waste from local businesses, turning this waste into something useful and then offering a wide range of recycled goods back to the community from their shop.

Both public and private organisations can donate to this charity, and their reward for their donations is that they are reducing their carbon footprint, developing corporate social responsibility and minimising the disposal costs of their waste products. It is a win-win situation all round without a doubt.

Sams should be applauded for doing such fine work for both the local community, and for the excellent environmental impact they are having in the region. We are always looking at ways to make our company as `green` as possible and so this charity fits perfectly with our aims.
