Print Was The First Form Of Mass Communication & Is Still The Best!
It was in the 15th Century that the first printing press was created and there is no doubt that this great leap in technological advancement changed the world forever. Now there were the tools to communicate with the masses, the printing of books and pamphlets meant that the lower ranks of society could now become educated and more knowledgeable about the world around them, as well as their `supposed` superiors.
Riots & Revolutions
This of course led to great changes in society, riots and revolutions, as books spread around the world and literacy increased. Things would never be the same again. Print was the first form of mass communication and has been used for good and unfortunately for bad down the ages, but there is no doubting its affects and its potency.
As the printing presses advanced down the years, and paper became cheaper to produce, this led to more forms of communicating through print, including newspapers and magazines etc.
